Changing your domains nameservers
Changing Your Domain's Nameservers
To change your domain's nameservers, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Nabtech account.
- Navigate to Domains > My Domains.
- Click on the three dots (ellipsis) next to the domain for which you would like to change the nameservers and select the Manage Nameservers option.
Choose Nameserver Options
You will then be presented with two options:
- Use Default Nameservers: These are automatically set nameservers according to the hosting account you use with us. If you have multiple hosting accounts, we recommend not using this option.
- Use Custom Nameservers: You can set up to five different nameservers for your domain name. There are no limitations, so you can also use third-party nameservers or create your own custom nameservers. Simply enter the required nameservers in each field and click on the Change Nameservers button.
Remember that DNS changes may take a couple of hours to reflect.
Finding Your Nameserver Information
If you do not know your nameserver information, it is included in the hosting account welcome email. If you are unsure of the nameservers for your hosting account, please contact us, and we can resend the hosting account information email for you.
